alex moore

lead pastor

Alex has been a part of the NLCC family since its launch in 1989. He earned his Bachelor of Theology in 2005 and has spent decades growing in his love for God’s Word and the local church. Before serving as our Lead Pastor, Alex faithfully led in a variety of roles for 18 years, helping shape the culture and mission of NLCC.

His passion is simple... helping people meet Jesus and live out their faith in a way that leads to a fuller heaven and an emptier hell.

Alex is the proud father of three boys and spends many afternoons coaching high school distance runners, where faith and life lessons often show up between the miles. He brings energy, authenticity, and a deep love for Scripture to everything he does... both in the church and throughout the community.
