CHRISTMAS DAY
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. -Galatians 4:4-5

PAUSE
Today is the day! It’s Christmas! As we celebrate with our loved ones by spending time together and opening gifts, don’t forget to think about our Savior.

DISCUSSION

• What do you think is meant when Paul says, “the set time had fully come” for Jesus to be born?

• What do you think is meant when Paul says Jesus was, “born under the law to redeem those under the law?” 

• What are the implications of being adopted to sonship as a child of God?  

Christmas Day is a celebration and reminder of our Savior, Jesus, God’s son whom He gave to us as a gift. Merry Christmas!

PRAY
Dear God, Thank You for giving me access to you through your son Jesus. Help me remember that Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas Day.
